Facilitator’s  Guide for Psychosocial Support Activities

From 2018 to 2021, AMURT supported the Rohingya refugees in the Cox Bazar district of SE Bangladesh, working in the world’s largest refugee camp with thousands of displaced children and their families. It was necessary to contextualize psychosocial support for the teachers, psychologists, and social workers who were part of this massive project. The result was this guidebook that lies at the intersection of Child-Friendly Spaces and Education in Emergencies. You may find this material inspiring if you are already doing similar work or wonder how to support displaced children. It includes sections on yoga for children, breathing exercises, and guided meditation.
