Prison Yoga

Teaching yoga and meditation to inmates at state prisons in North Carolina has been
one of the most satisfying things I do in my life. The inmates love it. The ones who don’t come don’t care, although they greet me with smiles and “Hey Yoga Man!”

Teaching Dharma to Kids

Morning and Evening Rituals: Show simple actions like folding hands in Namaskar Mudra and/or singing ‘baba nam kevalam kiirtan’ or other ‘blessings’  before eating, lighting a candle, or greeting the day with respect for the earth. Children follow these habits by watching you do them first.

Teaching Dharma to Adults

It is the dedicated evolutionary movement from imperfection towards the Supreme Perfection. To long for and run after the Great is Dharma. This requires effort, courage, and one-pointedness of mind and heart to relieve the suffering of others and control the reins of the selfishness.
